Mouse cursor not in the right location

Hi,

I have an issue with multiple games running in UE4, Train Sim World by Dovetail Games and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice by Ninja Theory. When the game is running in full screen the cursor on the display is not in the same location as the game registers it as shown here: Train Sim World Mouse Issues - YouTube . However when I tried recording this with OBS on the recording screen of OBS the mouse cursor was shown in the right location, but not on my screen. It was recommended by Dovetail Games that I contacted you in order to try to solve it because multiple games were included in the issue.

Steps taken to attempt to resolve it:

  1. Gone through all steps Dovetail Games has recommended going through with issues. This can be found here: https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/267/12/experiencing-technical-issues

  2. Disconnecting all other monitors except for the main one.

  3. Setting the resolution of all monitors to the same resolution.

  4. Removed all peripheral devices except for keyboard and mouse and restarted the system.

  5. Disabled PCIe capture card.

None of these had any effect unfortunately.

System

CPU: AMD FX-8370 @ 4467 Mhz
GPU: AMD R9 390
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Dxdiag can be found here: DxDiag MOMO - Pastebin.com

I hope you can help me solve this issue.

Kind regards,
Amanda.

I have come to a silly idea of what could be the issue and after testing it it actually was. The issue is related to the Windows taskbar. I have the taskbar on the left side of the screen instead of the standard bottom. I moved it to the bottom and issue solved. I do however not want to use the taskbar on the bottom. So I hope this can be solved.
