If I ever have my game finished, how can I make the name of my game official

no I mean I cant give it the name halo or call of duty to release it. the question is how can I make it official

  • Yes
  • Go to Edit → Project Settings. Set the Project Name variable to what your game’s name is.
  • If you want to rename your whole project, follow a guide like this one… Renaming Your Project.

If you’re selling your game, then it will gain trademark rights by being sold in the USA. You can also copyright the name.

If you’re going to sell the game, I also suggest creating an LLC to publish from, otherwise you could be liable for lawsuits.
