I got "Package failed" error and unable to pack. Tried to update visual studio and it did not worked. I have also removed substance painter plugin, and it also did not help. With 4.17 version packaging works, but 4.14 does not

It looks like you cloned or duplicated your project in the past or running the project from a drive/ dropbox folder. Can you search for “.target” in your project folder and delete one of the .target files (possibly making a backup before doing so)? More information about your Error can be found here

As last option you can always make a new project and migrate your old project to the new one. Some people magically could package it afterwards, but since I don’t know the exact reason why it works, it might not work with your project.

Yes I did cloned my project in past, but I did not work from dropbox. I have tried to find .target file in my project folder, but did not find any.

Thing that worries me is the situation that not even one project in 4.14 vesion wont package, I tried to open it with copy in 4.15 version, and its a same situation. Something strange is happening :slight_smile: Since I am able to finish packaging in 4.17 version, but when I run the packaged project it crash with fatal error. I tried many things, tried to reinstal the visual studio c++ it also didnt help.
I have had an Substance painter plugin installed, later I removed the plugin. Ive heard that some people complain about substance painter plugin is coused them truobles with the packaging. I remove some code that was looking for plugin, it solves only that situation that is no longer givin me a note about need to install the plugin.
