Vive tracker pogo pins supported?

Are any of the pogo pins on the Vive tracker supported now or planned to be supported by Unreal Engine?

Looking for the four input pins, trigger, grip, menu, and trackpad. As well as the output pin 1 for haptic feedback.

I have the input pins (trigger, menu, etc) working and also the haptic output pin. I used the HTC tool to change the tracker to a controller. In Unreal the motion controller is set to right hand.

When I had tried it as ‘other’ and set to the new ‘Special 1’ motion controller type Unreal was crashing when an event was triggered.

I am having the same problem, which is this HTC Tool that you used to change the tracker to a controller?

Can’t find it anywhere!

Thanks

You’re right, a bunch of the old links are down. I’m not sure if I have the tool saved ask around someone might have a copy.

Just found it in a reddit link (https://www.reddit.com/r/Vive/comments/6qroqi/vive_tracker_role_changer/), it is an exe that asks to connect the Tracker to change it to a controller… is that right? I can turn it back to a tracker after that?
I also found out where the Unreal code is crashing (Editor crashes with Vive trackers. - XR Development - Unreal Engine Forums)… Downloding Unreal again to try this fix…

Yes it reversed the process for me when I used it, but I haven’t used it in over a month.

Well… I am a little bit afraid of the WHY they took down the tool, but I will have it here as last resource anyway, thanks a lot for the fast aid!

FYI: For anyone interested: Vive Tracker Roll Changer 1.0 is out as of 4/24/18

Vive Tracker Role Changer 1.0 is back down, watch out as peple have been reporting that it can brick your vive.
Has anyone sucessfully acheived communication between tracker and unreal without Role Changer?
