Hey guys! So, I just build a new system that is superior to my previous rig and the UE4 editor is unstable. The interface is extremely sluggish and the editor game window is non-responsive. Mouse-over texts in the editor just show a black box etc.
My computer is capable of running most games on high settings. I can use Launch Game on the project, and it launches fine. The only issue is the editor.
Ryzen 5 1600x
16gb DDR4
2x MSI R9 270 Crossfire
I think it may have to do with my RAM as my mobo isn’t reading it at 3200mhz (Ryzen issue…) I’ve got it set at 2800mhz in my bios which is stable.
Any insight on getting the editor to respond efficiently without change in hardware would be much appreciated!

I’ve tried opening other projects etc. but no matter what, the editor is unusable.
