Hi. I thought this would be a cool feature idea for the launcher that would make life a tiny bit easier: Currently the Launcher lacks anything in the way of organisation for project files.
At the moment I have a fair few copies of the same project, that share the same name. (So the search doesn’t function well in this case for sorting.) However I just want to access the most recently modified project, one of my ideas was a simple click of a favourite button to automatically shift projects to the top left corner of the My Projects section. My other idea includes the ability to allow users to create groups of projects within my projects, which could be used to separate different versions of the same project from other unrelated projects.
This functionality could be extended to the Vault, which can get a bit disorganised. This isn’t as bad as my projects as vault items are less likely to share the same name for search, however having a favourites system or grouping functionality could make life a tiny bit easier by making it easy to find commonly used tools and asset packs.
Any other ideas for launcher project organisation i’m open to hearing, would be interesting to see if other people have a need for this… I imagine a lot of people have plenty of backups of their project on their PC which clogs up the Launcher.
