Not sure this is old or in 4.17.1 version, I not work with translucent meshes before, I code mostly from many UE 4 versions.
After changing mesh material with correct collisions to translucent material, like a glass, mesh no longer can be select on map in editor. It can be selected from list of course, but not in game view. In simulate everything working as expected - mesh have right collision, it happens only in editor. After changing back to any opaque material, mesh can be selected again.
Repro Steps:
- Place mesh with any material
- Change mesh material for translucent - I test with many, but for example door glass from content examples
- Can’t select mesh in editor with mouse
