Alpha in Splash Screens
I'm trying to get a proper high quality splash screen for my project, but I keep running into issues with them. My problem is with the alpha, or transparency of the images. When I use PNG format, the image is all glitched, like Unreal doesn't know what to do with the alpha data, and when I use BMP's, the alpha is rendered all white, all the time. Not transparent, like it's supposed to be. Any ideas?

Hi! i have the same problem and i found two solutions. The first is here:https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/205778/transparent-splash-screen.html The second is open photoshop and follow these steps(i finded from some website): 1.Open your image with alpha channel. 2-Go to channels(right to layers). 3-Select all channels with CONTROL. 4-Create a new layer. 5-And save with the option alpha layer checked. Here is the page, its in spanish but you can follow the image too:http://carlospozo.cl/crear-un-bmp-transparente/ And here is a little tutorial for make it in other way:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LJCss690vs
