Weight Map Problem
I created several animations in Modo with bones and weight maps. The preview in Modo works fine. After exporting the mesh including bones and weight maps into animated fbx, unreal engine seems to ignore weighting between 0-100. The whole mesh part will be deformed instead the painted area.
What may be the solution for this Problem?

I am also having this issue. I completely skinned my character in maya and it looked perfect when animating. I exported fbx and in unreal engine it seems to ignore some painted weights, or perhaps treat them differently. The strange thing is, that the arms, and the heads are all working fine compared to how the would have without weights, so it is just the root area that does not have any. Also I reopened my maya project after saving it and the same painted weight issues existed on my model there suddenly. First time it happened in maya.
