Landscape Shadow Artifacts in Envi with Dynamic Lighting

Hi all

Having trouble with shadow artefacts on my landscape. The seem to happen only around Cliffs and Vertical areas of the landscape.

I’m using Static Mesh geometry as set dressing for the cliffs. Regardless these shadow artefacts are poking through onto my meshs.
Change in materials don’t seem to make a difference and I’ve had a go at creating a new landscape with no luck. Any Ideas. Its a large scene so I’m not using any static lighting (not an option & don’t think it will resolve much).

Any ideas or solutions would be great. Excuse some of the mess in the PrtScn,s The landscape was allot neater befor I went a bit nuts trying to fix it.

can you post a wireframe of your cliffs? it looks like you have super stretched polygons there, just based upon the material stretch.

you may also need to pull the terrain back from the cliff model.

Smoothing out some of the terrain fixed things. May or may not use the larger cliff models/set dressing.

Too high value in Normal Map Z.
Decrease the Z value in normal map at distance.

If use WorldAlignedTexture functions… use also WorldAlignedNormal for the normal texture.
