Hey all, I was wondering if anyone here has any idea of whether Lightmass is capable of utilizing Xeon Phi processing adapter cards by Intel?
As far as I am aware, Lightmass is CPU bound which is what the Phi is designed to boost processing capability for so conventional thinking makes me think the Phi “should” work with Lightmass but I’m not sure if Epic have considered its use or not.
lightmass calculations are done on the CPU. i don’t have any knowledge about more than one CPU use though. do you have one or are you considering buying one?
