Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Enable self blur with spiral blur node

Hi there, I am setting up a "milky glass" material on a curved surface. So far I am working with this node setup:

and I am getting fairly good results right out of the box.:

but the moment I move around the curve of the material and see it through itself, I can see the edges of the material without the blurring effect, I want:

Is there anybody, who knows if this can be achieved, or if I just hit a limitation of the engine? Thank you very much. [1]: /storage/temp/213869-mat-layout.png [2]: /storage/temp/213881-good.png [3]: /storage/temp/213882-bad.png

looks like a limitation with the node you're using but it could be some sort of zbuffer/depth fade issue.

you could also try splitting the glass into multiple meshes and see what that does.
