Maya 2012 rig placing 'error occured'

Hi!

After I made the rig in maya 2012 just like I have seen in the tutorial video, I tried to place the skeleton, but this message popped up:
‘Errors have occurred while reading this scene that may result in data loss.
Please check the Script Editor for details.’

Hey ,

Does this occur when you are importing the mesh or after it is already in the editor? Would you be willing to share a copy of the mesh in question or another that experiences that error? Any additional information may help.

It occurs when I’m done with the parametres in the rig creator, and pressing ‘skeleton placement’. Instead of generating the skeleton it just shows the error message.

After looking into it a bit, we found that this is a Maya error:

There appears to be some answers about what to do for that error on the Autodesk forums. I would recommend looking into the information that is available there and see if that helps with the issue. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let us know.
