Ball won't stick to the floor ue4

Good Morning Guys,

I’m working a pinball game. And I’m trying to keep the floor grounded to the platform. but if the ball is hit at certain angles up against a wall at high velocities the ball will pop up into the air. I would like the ball to remain grounded, i have seen some recommendations online where people suggest on constraining the Z axis. However I am going to be integrating some ramps in the game requiring that the ball be traveling up and down the Z axis. I have come up with a few ideas on how to handle this such as if colliding with a ramp maybe i can disable the constraint etc. But i’m wondering if any of you guys have better suggestions? anything would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advanced,

You could put a collider over your level that constrains the possible ball movement.

When you integrate your ramps you can switch over to a custom collision mesh that includes those.

This should be a fairly easy approach.
