Frame Drop with High Poly modell

Hi guys,
currently i´m building an indoor/outdoor scene as an VR test.

I´ve built a showroom for some cars and everything is running fine til i put my car modell in the scene.
When i look around everything looks just fine but as soon as i start looking at the car my framerate drops extremely.

The car has a high poly count and at the moment there is only one light i the scene.(In the final scene will be around 50 to 60 lights.)

Also i´m loosing my shadows when i turn of the dynamic shadow settings for my modells.( I`ve heard that static shadows work better in VR)

The answer will be pretty obvious. Check triangle count of your car and eventually replace it with a much more optimized model

Thanks for your fast answer. My main problem is that i have to use high poly models for some presentations. So sometimes reducing the polycount isn´t an option. :confused: In this case it could do the job because this project is a test for myself but i guess i have to find a way around this in the future .
