Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Character's skin looks like wax

Hello!I recently created a character in Mixamo Fuse.I exported it's textures(with settings for ue4).When I import the textures and apply the material to the character, the skin looks like it's made of wax.I'm pretty new to the material creation part, but I think it might have something to do with the light. It looks horrible in the actual game.Any idea how to solve it?

Yeah, you need to edit your material after the fact. I assume it's imported as a UE4 material that you can edit?

I would try increasing the roughness and watching some youtube videos about subsurface scattering. Should fix your issues.
