Extreme Blotchiness with Lightmaps

Hello,

We’re building a house to test interior rendering and we’re having an issue with Lightmass… When I bake the lightmaps, the walls closest to the center of the home are extremely splotchy. Is there any way to increase the amount of “rays” (I don’t actually know if it’s rays, I come from an animation/vfx background  ) being fired into the scene? The first floor of the house looks has turned out quite nice, actually. But it’s the second floor that has the most blotchiness. I’ll attach screen shots, and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction? Or maybe I’ve just missed something in the documentation?

Thanks!

A single directional light isn’t enough to light the interior of a house like that sufficiently i’m afraid. Put a Skylight into the scene and rebuild the lights, it will help a little. And if it still isnt enough then you’ll have to put additional light sources inside the house.

Alright, cool! Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!
