Rendering quality of Cinematic video

Hello

I am rendering a Cinematic video sequence as png images, which I would afterwards put together into a movie using Blender’s video sequencer. The quality of the rendered images is weak, compared to that of the modeling window and game preview. In comparison, the lighting looks coarse and textures have lost detail. Is there a setting in Cinematic for adjusting rendering quality?

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!

Same problem here

,I’ve found that the quality can be improved by rendering with very large resolutions, and reducing the resolutions in post-processing. The problem with blurry resolutions may have had something to do with the loading of texture maps- maybe some of the maps were too big, and were using up memory. It was an exterior scene, and the adaptation of the camera’s exposure was playing tricks when moving between lit areas and shadows. After I posted this question, the quality of my Cinematic renderings has improved.

I have found a solution. Choose render type “Custom render” and then choose “Final image”. This will a render a lossless PNG sequence that you can import in your video editor (Premiere, After effects, etc). The file sizes are considerable but the quality is perfect

Thank you so much my friend! This worked like a charm. I have been looking for days and this is the only way I can get a lossless result with. My final video is just perfect now.

Choose render type “Custom render” and then choose “Final image”.

Where do I find these settings? I’ve looked everywhere!

Thanks !!!

See “Render Movie Settings” in Sequencer.
You can choose “Custom Render Passes” at “Image Output Format”.
