ARKit functionality 4.18 P1
Couple days in testing 4.18 p1 and ARKit. So far following simple MaterialFunction both with other devs we've managed to get RGB camera feed on our devices. See here
Unknow for us is the way to properly setup simple placing objects project. I understand there's no documentation yet, however any pointers would be much appreciated.
Below you'll see the setup we're using:
This setup was working properly back in beta on 4.17. Right now it does spawn the actors, however it seems like it doesn't account for AR functionality.
Additionally portrait orientation at least on iPhone 6s is broken, whenever switched aspect ratio gets messed up.
However switching landscape upside down will make screen not rotate accordingly.

Due to a large number of changes made to ARKit integration compared to 4.17 and 4.18 being a preview build I'm marking this as answered. It seems that based on commits made by Epic in 4.18 source there are alot of tweaks and improvements to ARKit functionality which will made it to 4.18 final release.

My one is working perfectly on 'right landscape.'
And about the spawning, in my case sometimes it not function but I tried to restart the editor, and it 's fixed the problem! or If you turn 'Mobile HDR' on, may be trying to turn it off and see what happen. Almost every time I turn 'Mobile HDR' on I couldn't see spawned cubes.

I get pretty much same result in - 4.18 preview 3. Mobile HDR on = no spawned/existing objects.
You say that sometimes you have had visible spawn - even with hdr on - do you know when that happened?
