Recently my computer had a problem and my SSD had to be formatted. All my Unreal Engine Versions where installed on my SSD and now they are gone.
My internet line is really low so downloading a 14 to 19GB fIle version can take up to 15 hours. (Yes my internet is really bad.)
Fortunately i’ve backed the 4.12 version of Unreal (were most of my projects where made on) ,on my external hard drive and upon re-installing it back on my computer, it only needed the Unreal Engine launcher for it to open.
Unreal Engine opens and does what Unreal does, but mouse input is really bad almost non responsive. You can drag and drop stuff in the scene. Anything related to viewport works fine. But everything out of viewport does not. Also The version can not be located in the “downloaded versions” in the Unreal engine launcher.
Should I suffer through 15hours + downloading the 4.12 version again or is there a easy way out?
