Issue keyframing Sky Sphere color in sequencer

I’m having problems animating the sky sphere zenith color in the sequencer (I haven’t tried animating the other colors yet).

I set the keyframe and the color changes as expected in the track color preview for each keyframe but on the sky sphere itself it only shows the latest color change as if ignoring the keyframes. In the attached screenshot I would expect the sky to be pink, but instead it’s showing the grey color from the first frame.

Any ideas?

I seem to remember it was a known bug at the time - is it still not working? Think I found a workaround but can’t remember what it was, maybe setting the color in blueprints?

It might be too late but in case someone else is wondering: If you go into the blueprint of the Sky_Sphere, there’s a function called “Refresh Material” If you bring that whole function into the EventGraph and create a timeline you can drive the colors and stuff (Just replace the variables in the tree by the outputs from the timeline), but from there. Otherwise what happens is that you get changes in your viewport that do not translate into Game Mode.

I’ve found out that with Blueprints that have references to other stuff in the scene, animating in the sequencer is not very useful.
