Error displaying Sound Settings

Hey guys, having an issue in Unreal where trying to open specific sound options/settings is causing a blank page to show up instead of the options I should have been able to edit and save.

I’ll give a screenshot as an example of what I’m talking about.

This problem appears when opening both sound attenuation and sound concurrency windows only interestingly, sound cues and sound classes are fine.

It also arose if I created a blank sound concurrency object instead of opening an existing one, this is what I am seeing in Unreal:

How can I fix this?

Thank you.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Uninstall / Reinstall did not fix the problem.

I have had this issue for the longest time. Either update your drivers from the Driver manager or download Realtek HD audio drivers from Google. One of these methods like luke filewalker would definately fix it.

Let me know if it works.

Thanks David, I’ll give that a try!

I wasn’t able to get drivers (I’m running OS X Mojave), but I did find a workaround incase anyone else runs into this issue. By creating a sound cue you can override the settings for sound concurrency and attenuation for an individual cue, but you can’t create reusable concurrency or attenuation settings (as the settings panels load blank). I’ll keep looking into it and will report back if I’m able to figure it out. I did test on a Dell laptop running windows 10 and everything seemed to work as expected, I’m just hoping to get it working on the mac.
