how is work objects movement along axis in VR Mode?

I tried different variants with linetrace, attachto controller, get controller angle - but with no exact same way.

It seems when trigger pressed along fake axis (arrows in the pivot when object touched) line trace hit invisible infinity plane along this axis.
or may be calculating two vectors of object along moving axis and forward vector of controller which pressed.
