Why is an odd ghost trail appearing with motion blur for objects being refreshed by the tick event?

As you can see in the image above… With motion blur on, the counters that are being refreshed by “Event Tick” in the character blueprint are leaving behind an odd trail. The counter reading “98” has the same properties and material as the other counters but is updated after every shot fired from the gun, and not with every tick.
How do I fix this without having to disable motion blur?
