Ok, then you free to do everything you want. Unreal is powerful engine and it can handle many things.

About your question - using many material ids on one mesh will affect performance, so for games we use masks. If you don’t care about polycount and number of material ids - use it as you wish.

Anyway, there should be some limitations.

Look Bro…i am not game developer,i am Architecture Student so that mean i don’t care about game play or how many fps my player will get…I JUST WANT QUALITY…!!!
