How to prepare prop files to sell on the epic marketplace? What is the correct file format?

I’ve been wanting to sell props in the unreal marketplace however, I can’t find any information on how to properly prepare the files.

I know you have to register as a seller (which I have done) and I have taken a look at the Epic Marketplace guidelines however there is no mention of what is the correct file format to provide the asset/mesh as?

I want to prepare a props package. Do I just provide an fbx of the low poly models with the texture files (targa?) and then zip it up? Or do I just compile all the props into one project in unreal, save that out then zip that project folder up? Is there a specific folder structure I have to follow? What are the ‘Universal Rules’ for file formats/exporting props to sell?

Sorry! Still learning here.

Thanks!

This is a good question but the biggest problem with Unreal is the lack of support. July 2018 and still not answer like my last 3 questions

hi , my be i can answer .
on my first to prepare my assets Pack , that i anderstand and work .

  1. follow all requirement based on the Epic Market guide line
  2. even is an asset , you need to import all your assets on a project and build a project with this following structure
    My Project
    -conig
    -Content
( on folder content , create sub My Project )
    -Myproject.uoproject )
  3. then when you want to submit your asset choice : Assets pack

you file need to be Zip file ( url to DL from a googledrive works fine )

!! For props , be sure to have on your sub folder Content/My Project after import all sub folders attached for props ,i.e , sub folfer texture , mesh …)
