How do you get Unreal Engine 4 to open

When I try to open Unreal Engine 4 a Error message comes up that says: The program can’t start because ali- ms-win-crt-runtime-1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I have try reinstalling it four times and it has not worked. Please help me.

You might be missing a Windows update:

I have windows 7 professional is their an update i need

i have windows 7

The link I provided should be sufficient then. I’d also ensure I had service pack 3 if I were you. Win 7 is an old system by today’s standards. I suggest you start with that if you never updated your OS.

how do i get service pack three

I just meant service pack, not 3, sorry. I think windows XP had 3 SPs. Win 7 had 1, I think? But the downloadable version should have all the updates.

Ideally, you’d just run the Windows Update. If for some reason you cannot, try here:

when i hit download it asked me what files to download. do i download all of them

The Install Instructions below explain what each file is for; so no, you do not need all of them.

what do i do when i installed the sp

See if the UE4 works fine, if it does not, see the link in my first post.

it worked thanks for the help
