Media Player - Memory leak?

Hi there

I have a reproducible case where there memory of the app spikes and there seems to be a leak because leaving the app running eventually my machine runs out of memory, this happens within seconds.

To reproduce this :Chain up two Levels that play the exact same footage on a sphere that switches between levels using an Open Level Function in blueprints - Using different media players in each level.

Level 1 → 5 Sec Delay → Level 2 → 5 Sec Delay → Level 1 → 5 Sec Delay → Level 2 … Repeat

ie

Create 2 Media Players

Create 2 Media Textures

Create 2 Materials

Create 2 Levels

Having two separate media players seems to be the problem because if I reference Level 1’s Media Player in Level 2, it doesn’t seem to be a problem.

Anyone else running into this ?

Can you provide some screenshots that show how you configured the media players and your blueprints (if any)? Thanks!

There’s nothing special about the setup, just two separate media players in each level. I could paste a screen grab of it but they look the same.

It also only occurs when using the vive/gear vr (stereo on)

As you can see it just starts spiking and would continue until the machine becomes unstable.

Would be easier if I share the project?
