Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Foliage shadow broken after updating to 4.17

Hi,

I can't give much details regarding this issue because I am not allowed to share information related to this project, but since I have spent a couple of days on it and I haven't made any progress, I thought maybe someone could point me towards the right direction... somehow.

The lightmaps for our foliage work perfectly in UE4.16, but after updating the project to 4.17, they seem to break; while the scene, levels, materials, and assets are all exactly the same as the ones in the 4.16 version, for some reason foliage won't be affected by shadows unless we are in editor mode (The problem only appears when we simulate, preview, or play the scene)

Any ideas? Thank you.

Product Version: UE 4.17
