Foliage shadow broken after updating to 4.17

Hi,

I can’t give much details regarding this issue because I am not allowed to share information related to this project, but since I have spent a couple of days on it and I haven’t made any progress, I thought maybe someone could point me towards the right direction… somehow.

The lightmaps for our foliage work perfectly in UE4.16, but after updating the project to 4.17, they seem to break; while the scene, levels, materials, and assets are all exactly the same as the ones in the 4.16 version, for some reason foliage won’t be affected by shadows unless we are in editor mode (The problem only appears when we simulate, preview, or play the scene)

Any ideas?
