Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Office Holiday

Epic Games' offices will be on holiday from June 22nd to July 7th. During this period support will be limited. Our offices will reopen on Monday, July 8th. 

Can't save a new level?

Normally when you hit save after creating a new level from "File > New Level" you're presented with a dialog box to name and save your new level to a desired directory. I am no longer presented with this dialog box, even after hitting "Save all Levels" nothing happens and i get no errors, it's like it didn't even try. If I go to project settings and change the start-up and default level I can see the newly created (untitled) level and if I hover over it, it shows to be in a "temp" directory which means if I don't find a way to save the level It's gonna be gone next time i launch my project, as I've discovered the hard way. Surely this is a bug but I can't seem to find anything about the problem online. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone can tell me where this temp folder is so maybe I can drag and drop the new level into my project's main directory, that would be great, thanks.

I have the same issue, you're not alone. I wish I could help HAVE you recently downloaded a level such as the winter chalet and try to mess around with it? I believe that's whats causing my issue. It could be the file structure within the epic games program
