When I unplug my headphones while using UE4, all sounds on the program cease to play until i plug my headphones back in and restart UE4. All other sounds like Netflix come through my speakers just fine. Any clue how to fix this? Thanks.
If you are using a USB head set or speakers, this would be prettymuch un-avoidable. it is because the operating system switches sound drivers when you unplug the head set.
if you do it in a game, many games cannot compensate and will simply continue to use the previous driver.
just how things are with USB head sets, if its a regular 3.5mm jack then, possibly its a computer issue.
I would guess that you set the speaker setting to zero, and headphones to normal. So when you unplug, the system recognizes this and switch to speaker (which is zero). Common on tablets like Surface Pro.
Try setting volume when using speaker, and then start the game. See if that helps.
Unplugging doesnt do anything special, Even if my headphones are already unplugged and I then open UE4 it does this.
