Is there a way to connect an animation curve to a variable

I am currently trying to fine tune my IK system running my character, and I was looking into the curve track on animated sequences, I was wondering if there is a way of driving a variable float using the curve track.
It would be exactly what I need if there is a way of doing it.

I am not sure about the animation curve, but blueprints has something similar called a Timeline if that helps.
