4.18 refuses to launch on 2015 MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). Graphics card is Metal 1.2 compatible. Running High Sierra.

Installed 4.18. Won’t launch. Uninstalled all Unreal engines. Reinstalled 4.18. Won’t launch.

Restarted. Tried again. Nothing.

Here’s my log file.

Any ideas would be terribly helpful.

I’ve been attempting a number of things to get this to run. I remembered how another problem I posted about earlier was caused by a space in the directory name of the default install. On a hunch, I deleted and reinstalled UE4.18 again, but this time, changed the install location from “/Users/Shared/Epic Games” (with a space) to “/Users/Shared/EpicGames” (no space).

Editor actually launched, and is merrily compiling shaders now.

You may want to look into this whole space-in-the-path-causes-problems thing.
