What type of course should i follow?

Yesterday i (3d designer) decided to start unreal engine 4.18 with my brother (a programmer) to try making some games for fun
in my case i dont need to know how to use the built in mesh editor because i know other programs so i can import my 3d objects from there or programming because my brother will do that
as i am a beginner in UE4 i would like to learn how much should i know about UE4 . Should i actually learn everything in it but without going deep or just learn minimum ?
