Bug and Slow Landscape Editor UE4

  1. Slow while using Landscape Editor at UE4 in Smooth, Hydro Erosion and Retopologize Tool. Also when you shift to the Paint and using Paint Tool the crosser circle preview are not follow my mouse pointer to use Paint tool.
  2. Last some error hole from mountain.
  3. Can we resize the tool for Landscape Editor?

If you see lighting problem on your landscape, try rebuilding lighting.

For the brush size, expand the “Brush Settings” category and you will see the Brush Size value.

I also encouter some performance issues (freezes) when using sculpt tool with large size brushes, I just reduced it to make it faster.

What about the “Red Circle no.1” after i shift my setting from Sculpt to Paint, i try to brush the mountain near at “Red Circle no.2”. Its not follow my pointer cursor to paint the mountain.

What hardware are you using? Editing landscape is extremely smooth for me and i haven’t had any lag what so ever so I’m guessing it might be hardware related.

I using I7 4770K, 32 Gb DDR3 12800 memory RAM, 256 GB SDD, Nvidia 650 Ti Boost.

Similar to mine, same amount of ram but a 4930k and HD7970 GPU so that shouldn’t be a problem, I didn’t have any issues with it back when I only had 12gb ram and a i7-930 either. I can’t help much more but at least it’s not your hardware that is at fault.

Hi, I already solve the problem by re-install the UE4.
Can i use the Brush tool with separate texture color. Like: Sand and Grass by each area. Please send me a tutorial link like Youtube. Thanks.
