How to set up Muffled or Occluded Audio?

So how do I make the audio coming from a TV sound muffled when I am outside a building and when I walk inside its unmuffled and clear? I know ue4 has an audio occlude feature but I know nothing about it or how to set it up, could someone walk me through the process, please provide screenshots as I am a visual learner. I cant find any tutorials on Youtube covering this

Somebody asked about this before

That doesn’t help me at all lol, I am not an Audio Programmer and was hoping there would be a step by step tutorial on how this is done

You don’t need to be an audio programmer to follow that previous post. Essentially it’s a checkbox and a few settings on the sound attenuation asset.

Do you know how to use the sound attenuation asset?

Here’s somebody using sound attenuation with television media:

More involved documentation:

In summary, the steps are:

  1. Enable occlusion in a sound attenuation asset or in an override
  2. Play a 3d sound with that sound attenuation asset
