Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to know which device profile is used or what to edit?

I'm experimenting with device profiles for Android on default start pack scene with two chairs and table. I copied BaseDeviceProfiles.ini to project Config dir as DefaultDeviceProfiles.ini

I tried changed r.MobileContentScaleFactor to 0.1 to see some obvious change, but it doesn't seem to change. Changed in Android, Android_high, Android_mid, Android_low.

Also runned Package content for Android.

There are lot of profiles and i'm confused, how this works - what profile is actually used on Galaxy Note 1 or how to know which settings are actually used. Can somebody help me with this or point out some information source/tutorial? Documentation seemed to be very basic. Some specific use case example would be great.

I found out that "Save as default device profiles" button is needed to be pressed.

Well I must say, i tried googling the question first. Later on I found this information on some discussion. I thought it autosaves.

Now I propably get it. Profiles inherits setings from ancestor profiles. And the used profile is profile associated with GFX chip family.
