How do I add animation to a mesh in UE 4.18.0?

Not sure what section to post this in, so if a different section would be better then please let me know!!

Okay so… I’m following a tutorial for a class, and I get to the last step, and it has me utterly confused.

I’m uploading the pdf of the tutorial (I hope it works) so I can try to make this as clear as possible. Yes it is school work, but I’m not asking for any scripting or anything to be done. I just need help finding an option that I don’t see.

So, following the tutorial, I click on the “class defaults” button. (Highlighted in in the screenshot)

Then, I search for “animation”, but it doesn’t give me any results.

After that, I try following the “alternate” route of the tutorial, and try adding animation through the Use Animation Blueprint setup. However, it says I’m supposed to select the mesh (It’s SK_Mannequin, a basic skeletal mesh included in the starter animation kit in UE4)

However, when I use the drop-down menu to find it, there’s 12 options, and none of them seem right.

Am I missing something? Am I just being blind and unable to see what I need to do this? How do I add animation to the skeletal mesh?

As Anim Class select:

UE4ASP_Hero_TPP_Anim_Blueprint

It will work.
