Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Making a Hover Component Blueprint in 4.17

I've checked some online tutorials on Hover Components, especially the one made by Epic Games: link text . It seems to be what I need, but it doesn't work anymore in 4.17 because it doesn't let me link primitive components in a scene component. I tried making it an actor component blueprint but it doesn't seem to work on objects I link it to.

Is there a different way I could make this to work, or simply an other way I could link it to a mesh component without searching for primitive.

If anyone has an idea on how to program this in C++, I could also give it a go and then just link it to my vehicle's Blueprint.

Product Version: UE 4.17
