Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Accepting the SDK License agreement

Hi there,

Apologies if this is in the incorrect section but the Licensing section was a safe bet.

I'm currently working on a product for android devices and i'm following the Android Quick Start section of the Unreal documentation. It says i need to accept the SDK license agreement in the project settings and when i do the button will turn gray. When i click agree to the license however the button remains clickable as if I didn't accept it.

I don't want this to cause issues further down the line of development so i thought i would post about it here to double check it has actually registered me accepting it.

I had a similar problem, and I was able to solve this issue after making sure the android SDK folders pointed to -> C:\NVPACK\android-sdk-windows (etc) instead of C:\NVPACK

Hello RWhittingham,

This button is particularly for using Gradle so if you are not using that, you shouldn't have any issues, but we're currently looking into this from the perspective of someone who has not previously done Android development to see if we get that same result, as it should turn gray as it says.

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for the reply, I solved the issue I was having and it was down to my own stupidity if I'm honest. The documentation has the steps for accepting the license shown in the very first section however it's a step you need to follow later on after downloading the Android SDK and things
