I recently started up my subscription again and starting up the engine I get an error that says "No version information received." Clicking on retry does not do anything and clicking ok just takes me to the main sections of my current installed versions and the launcher does not recognize there is a new version for updating. How do I resolve this issue?

Have you attempted shutting the launcher down and then restarting it? If this does not help, check to see if you have a firewall or antivirus enabled that is preventing the editor from running properly.
