Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Launcher issues

I recently started up my subscription again and starting up the engine I get an error that says "No version information received." Clicking on retry does not do anything and clicking ok just takes me to the main sections of my current installed versions and the launcher does not recognize there is a new version for updating. How do I resolve this issue?

Yes I shut down the launcher and restarted and it didn't help. The only thing that changed was canceling my subscription and then recently subscribing again but I didn't delete or uninstall anything. I noticed it didn't happen this morning so maybe it was just something weird going on. I am going to keep monitoring it as it was an error and there has to be some reason for it.

Hi farbeyond,

Have you attempted shutting the launcher down and then restarting it? If this does not help, check to see if you have a firewall or antivirus enabled that is preventing the editor from running properly.
