Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Unreal super slow after High Sierra upgrade

Before High Sierra upgrade Unreal was running very well, now it's running so slow it's almost unusable on I7 MacBook Pro 16GB RAM, SSD. Also fan is on all the time and system super hot.

Other applications also become unusable while UE4 running

Same issue for 4.17.2 & 4.18.

When UE4 has quit fan goes off and system back to normal.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour too, considering going back to previous OSX, but just want to make sure its a real issue?

Product Version: UE 4.18

Went back to Sierra. All the problems went away

High Sierra really breaks a lot of stuff.
