Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Editing/Detailing Unreal 4 pre-made assets?

My question is, when I use Unreal 4 assets (ones that I bought from their marketplace), can I edit the detail/quality of the textures?

For example, I just bought a asset pack and love the overall design and textures. However, the assets are somewhat cartoony and that's not the look I'm wanting. Can I go into the Engine and edit the texture by adding more quality to it? I'm not sure how to properly word it, but if the asset was a painting, I would add more detail to make it appear more realistic by drawing on top of it, instead of making a new painting.... I hope that makes sense.

Basically, I want to customize the pre-made assets to my liking without having to competently build my own.

If you understand what I'm asking, please let me know.

Thank you!
