Can't add empty group to matinee on MacOS

when right clicking under tracks section and choosing add empty group nothing happens except some white little dot appears

Same problem on MacOS high sierra. When I click to add a new group I have a white dot that appears on the timeline as in screenshot 2.

Thank you for pointing this out. I was able to reproduce this issue, and have entered UE-52421 to have it investigated further.

Actually, the ticket that I entered just came back as a duplicate of another one that is currently being worked on. The actual issue here is somewhat more broad than my repro would indicate, so the engineers are going to keep working based on the other ticket.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. The ticket that had been entered to address this issue was marked fixed in 4.18.2. Are you still having trouble with this?
