Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

ARKit launch to iOS from Windows XCode

Is there any way to build and launch iOS ARKit projects on a Windows PC without the need for a remote mac to build from?

I've seen people claiming to have done this in 4.17 but then not being able to in 4.18

It'd be nice to have a more solid answer before finding out I need to spend another £500 on a mac just to build and launch to iOS devices.

Product Version: UE 4.18

Currently there's no way to do this from a Windows PC but I read in a forum post (somewhere) that they're working on it.

For the moment I've got a networked Mac Mini setup with XCode to do the certificates for deployment.

@Likvidat thanks. I was going to do the same thing, I'm glad to see some Mac Minis are going cheap as well so that lessens the blow.
