[FIX] Engine Crashes on Startup 4.18

hello, some unfortunate news. i had my game mid to complete, perhaps 3-4 months wouldve been finally finished. however. loading it today i got an instant crash, i tryd again... 100s of times 'an unreal process has crashed'. started a new project 'an unreal process has crashed'. opened older projects, 'an unreal process has crashed.' whats going on?

I have exacly the same problem on my laptop with windows 7 installed. On my main PC with windows 10, crash doesn't occure.

Any solution?

i've got windows 10 and that's where the crash is happening. I've searched for updates for graphics and windows but says my pc is up to date. and in the log file it has the error 'DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED' which i think is something to do with direct x? haven't found a fix sadly.

Download these Two. the amd driver is the old one, ive tested and working 100%

1 AMD: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/amd-radeon-software-crimson-relive-16-12-2-driver-download.html DDU: http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,14.html  (NOTE this is an automatic download.)

2 then reboot into safe mode by holding SHIFT and left clicking on RESTART. Load DDU -- Uninstall/clean and restart pc (the recommended one)

3 After restarts install that old amd driver, restart pc (un-tick keep system up-to-date)

4 right click on desktop -- AMD Radeon Settings -- Preferences -- Addition Radeon Settings -- Then follow these screen captures ive taken,
