i have a custom widget that consists of a border widget (parent) and a textblock widget (child). in the border widget, i set the appearance flag “show effect when disabled” to false. now when i disable my custom widget, the border widget doesnt grey out, but the textblock widget still does. in my humble opinion, the textblock widget shouldnt grey out, when its parent doesnt. or better yet, make it optional. add the “show effect when disabled” flag to textblock (and other) widgets as well, and make it inheritable.
