I just downloaded car fbx file from turbosquid.com but when I imported it to ue4, it impoirted it as static mesh and I tried to follow many tutorials for the process but none of them were made on this situation. I imported static mesh, and the main problem was that the wheel and the car body were being imported as different meshes. I generated skeletal mesh for the car when reimporting it and the problem is still same.Please help me. Thanks
Hey,
first check if the fbx you want to import even has an animation on it. If not then there’s no reason to import it as a skeletal mesh.
Second, if you don’t want to import it in seperate pieces either group the objects together in a 3D software or check “combine meshes” in the import settings.
