Inconsistent behavior to transforms upon reimport

I’m updating the transform matrix to some of my static mesh assets so that I can work with them more easily with procgen; however, when I reimport, the meshes don’t update, or they’ll update once every X number of tries, or if they do update, only translate gets update but not rotate or vice versa, or only one axis gets the transform applied. I recently started a new project in 4.18.1, but I’ve never experienced this in 4.15. Also, this happens regardless if I update transformations from asset actions in content browser or if I update inside asset details. Any ideas what’s behind this?

I would just like to add that my team is having the same issue. We just upgraded to 4.18 from 4.15. Reimporting meshes is all messed up. It seems to be highly random. Just changing the uniform scale and then reimporting can cause the model to randomly rotate, and set it’s scale to something other than what is selected. Changing the rotation can affect the scale. Sometimes it will just stop reimporting completely, upon which I have to restart the editor. But it still does the bizarre reimporting bugs I just described.

Most of the time it doesn’t even apply the transforms for me, It’s become a huge problem.
